Calcium is an essential mineral present in the highest amount from all minerals in the human body and is mostly (99%) found in bones and teeth. Calcium is needed for the development of bones and teeth, in blood clotting, for signal transfer among nervous cells and for muscle contraction. It plays a significant role in reducing blood pressure, reduces the risk of kidney stone formation, and participates most probably in binding certain fats and cholesterol in the digestive tract. This is probably the reason why some scientists insist that calcium is capable of reducing cholesterol levels. One of the most important functions of calcium consists in neutralizing acidity and helping to attain a healthy physiological pH balance in the body. Slightly alkaline environment is essential for life, health, growth, and vitality. pH-values in the body less than 7 are considered acidic and harmful to health.

Contents of 2 tablets: Calcium (calcium carbonate) 1.000 mg (125 % of nutrient reference values); sweetener: sorbitol, mannitol; maltodextrin; acidity regulator: citric acid; anti-caking agent: magnesium stearate; cherry flavor; orange flavor; lime flavor; lemon flavor; dyes: Allura Red, Sunset yellow, Tartrazine, Brilliant blue FCF.

Precautions
It is not designed for children up to 3 years of age. The product is not a substitute for a varied diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosing. Contained dyes may affect the activity and attention in children. Excessive consumption may produce laxative effects. Store in a cool dry place out of reach of children. Use best before date indicated by EXP data on the top side of the container.
